CANTON, TX – In an article written by MSNBS.com, Doug Hecox, a spokesman for the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) says “Americans are going to resume their normal traveling habits in 2009. We just don’t know when.” Hecox believes that people will start readjusting their budgets to adapt to the shift. He says “The longer the economy remains murky, the more people figure out ways to deal with it. People start to justify little luxuries — not Godiva chocolates or trips to Paris, but maybe an overnighter or long weekend away.”
In difficult economic times, relaxing vacations and time away with family is as important as ever. It’s especially important when the average worker is working harder and longer to compensate for a shrinking work force.
Mill Creek Ranch in Canton, Texas is doing its part to help out those who desire a vacation, but are looking for a discount. “With strong client loyalty, we are passionate about rewarding those who continue to give us their business, as well as those who want and need to travel at a discount.” says Ashley Smith, Sales and Marketing Consultant at Mill Creek Ranch Resort.
