Why take the bus when you can travel first class? Dynamax 2007 Grand Sport Touring Coach
By Road Runner at 2007-03-21 11:16
Dynamax’s Grand Sport Ultra has been an extraordinary motorhome ever since we created this antithesis of the boxy bus. Our Grand Sport Ultra looks better, rides better, hauls better and is better than just about any other motorhome out there — at any price. And the best gets even better for 2007.

With luxurious living space in the front and spacious cargo room in the back, Dynamax’s 2007 Grand Sport Touring Coaches are now available with a wide variety of options and additions for road travelers with active lifestyles. One of these new features, a “toyhauler” version, allows adventure enthusiasts to take anything along for the ride — from motorcycles and ATVs to canoes and other recreational gear.

The new “toyhauler” model is available on the Grand Sport Columbia 45’ floor plan, which will be seen at the RVIA show. The unit features an upscale, 12’ garage with a liftgate at the rear. Other additions for 2007 include two new colors to freshen up the Grand Sport paint packages and large rear trunks as standard. Also, a revised kitchen layout is now available on the 35’ and 37’ Grand Sport M2 models.

Powered by a Mercedes Benz diesel engine and generating 1,550 ft. lbs. of torque, the Grand Sport Columbia is designed to provide exceptional power and drivability. The Grand Sport M2 is powered by a CAT C7 300 engine and carries 860 ft. lbs. of torque for the high-end consumer with a lower price point.
The Grand Sport Columbia and Grand Sport M2 feature Dynamax’s signature diesel-puller design on a Freightliner® truck chassis — an eye-catching, distinctive style that places the engine in the front of the motorhome. With the front engine location, the Columbia and M2 both offer benefits such as superior safety, reliability, durability, drivability and serviceability not found on the conventional bus-style pusher. On each motor coach a “crush zone” and three exterior access doors provide an extra measure of safety in the event of a front-end collision. Front engine access also allows for quick, easy servicing. And because the front-cab area — including the dash heater, air conditioner, defroster and windshield wipers — is all engineered and installed by Freightliner automotive engineers and, therefore, meets automotive standards, it can be serviced directly by a Freightliner dealer.

Dynamax Corporation, located in Elkhart, Ind., produces great driving luxury motor coaches designed to fit a wide range of size requirements. The company’s product lines include the DynaQuest Touring Cruiser, Grand Sport Columbia Touring Coach, Grand Sport M2 Touring Coach, ISATA Touring Sedan and the DynaSport Ultimate Touring Vehicle (UTV).
