Quartzsite RV Show Hits Quarter Century Mark!
Quartzsite, AZ - RVers are marking their calendars for the 2009 show schedule in Quartzsite. This tiny desert hamlet bursts at the seams each January when tens of thousands of RVs converge on Quartzsite for the huge rock & mineral shows, swap meets and flea markets that take place there each winter.
One of the largest and most popular venues is the Quartzsite Sports, Vacation & RV Show. Now in it's 25th year, this huge show takes place in the "BIG TENT", just 1/2 mile South of Interstate 10 on State Highway 95. The dates for the 25th Annual Quartzsite Sports, Vacation & RV Show are January 17th - 25th.
There is no charge for admission or parking at this spectacular event that is now billed as "The Largest Consumer Attended RV Show in the US". The attendance for the 2008 show was estimated at well over 150,000 with over 400 exhibits inside, and around, the 80,000 square foot, fully carpeted structure that included the "who's who" of the RV industry. Promoter Kenny King states, "If you're looking for anything related to RVs, you'll find it at the RV show in Quartzsite!" There will be several hundred new and used RV's on display in 2009 and over a dozen service bays will be offering immediate installation, repairs & service on many of the items that will be exhibited at the show.
In 2008 there were numerous tourism related exhibits from the USA, Canada, Mexico and Europe as well as representatives from dozens of the nations finest RV resorts and campgrounds. In addition, there were "workamper" recruiters from National Parks and private campgrounds. They even included Dollywood and Disney World! Show promoter King went on, "The number and diversity of exhibitors that you'll find at the Quartzsite RV Show will not be found at any other show of this type in the United States. Period!".

Upwards of 40-50,000 RV's parked in and around Quartzsite during the Quartzsite Sports, Vacation & RV Show each year. It is claimed that over 1,000,000 people pass through town during the winter months.

The aisles are packed every day during the RV Show with over 275 exhibitors offering everything imaginable for the RV. Representatives from Mexico, Canada and Europe attended the show last year plus lot's of other "destinations" for the 10's of 1000's of RV enthusiasts that attend the shows each year.

15 acres of FREE parking are available during the show however with this huge crowd the parking lot is usually packed by 9AM each day as the show opens. Regardless, 1000's of RVers manage to make their way to the RV Show and other venues within walking distance in the area.

Exhibitors are provided with FREE stock trailer storage during the shows in close proximity of the show grounds to make re-stocking of inventory as easy and quick as possible.

We utilize a digital workflow and all ad materials must be submitted in a digital format.

ACCEPTABLE FILE FORMATS
PDF, EPS or TIFF only. No Jpegs.
FILE NAMES
Label file with your company name and ad size: i.e.
HondaFullPage
ART
All images must be imbedded in the file as well as all fonts
converted to outlines or graphics, where possible. High
Resolution Images:300 DPI. Send files at 100% size per ad
specifications. Bleeds adjust accordingly.
COLOR
CMYK only. Any PMS, Spot and/or RGB colors will be
converted to process. Publisher not responsible for shifts in
color if file is not CMYK.
AD SIZES
Spread files should be set up as two single facing pages.
All ads must be created to exact size specifications on the
rate card, or will incur charges for re-sizing. No live matter
within 1/4” of trim.
FONTS
Use only Type 1 PostScript fonts and fonts must be
converted to outlines, graphics or be imbedded in file.
Black type on white background should be defined as
100% black ONLY.
MEDIA TRANSFER
ONLY SEND CD-ROMs. Materials will not be
returned unless specified up front.

Email attachments: 3MB or less only. Use self extracting

PROOFS
All advertisers MUST submit a contract-level
digital proof at 100% that conforms to SWOP

If contract proof is not supplied, we will generate
an Iris proof at a charge of $52 per page. The
publisher and printer are not responsible for
color match if contract proofs not submitted.

PRODUCTION CHARGES
All work done by Sequoia Hamilton including artwork, typesetting, image
scanning, resizing of ads to meet required specifications, changes or
deletions, and all other extra work required to meet our quality standards
will be charged to advertiser at prevailing rates plus applicable sales
tax. Publisher is not liable for errors in key numbers or in other type
set by Publisher.
ALL SPONSORS
